Meduri Farms obtained GFSI certification through FSSC 22000 standards in September 2012 and has maintained this certification ever since.
The implementation of these standards has improved our quality programs by raising the bar beyond the GMP requirements of CFR part 110 and part 117 for food manufacturers.

Meduri Farms’ infused dried fruits are processed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and conform in every aspect to the provisions of the US Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
Our manufacturing facilities meet the Global Food Safety Initiative requirements under the FSSC 22000 benchmark, and operate in accordance with Codex Alimentarius, FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act, cGMP’s (21 CFR 110), and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Meduri Farms maintains an allergen-free process and facility. Our dried infused fruits are free from allergens of concern which include peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, fish, crustaceans, soy, wheat, mollusks, mustard, and sesame.
Meduri Farms’ dried infused fruits are prepared from sound, properly ripened fruits and ingredients that meet US-EPA’s Pesticide Tolerance levels. Our products are screened against Carbamates, Organochlorinated, Organonitrogen, Organophosphate Screens, and other pesticides, while consistently meeting US-EPA’s pesticide residue tolerances (40 CFR 180.3).
Meduri Farms’ dried infused fruits have low pH values and an extremely low Water Activity (aw) level, and therefore do not support the growth of any known pathogens such as Salmonella and E. Coli.

In support of food safety initiatives, Meduri Farms performs microbial analysis and known pathogen testing for each finished-product lot as requested.
Microbiological testing is performed in accordance with ISO standards using AOAC approved methods, such as Real-Time PCR. The testing is conducted by a certified third-party laboratory which is ANS/ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certified and accredited by International Accreditation Service (IAS), meeting accreditation criteria for laboratory testing.
